Anybody know any good online typing programs?
 
I have a friend that needs to learn to type! any good typing programs online that are free?;)....he needs to start from the basic stuff. like home keys and such....any links would be helpful....

tell him to join an addicting forum, or an online game that you have to type alot...my typing teacher was Diablo 2 :)

Maybe so. I average about 130 words per minuit. not very accurate though, but i can hammer out the keys pretty damn fast. i used to be up to 150 back in the old BBS days (pre internet). You HAD to, especially if you were in a teleconference with 10-15 other people, cause the other peoples text wouldnt scroll until yer done with yer typing. Yah. im sure some of you older guys remember the WW4 and Galacticom style bullitin boards. All 14,4k dial up buddy. no networking back then.

I learned on mavis beacon (or something like that).

Mavis Beacon rocks. Thats where I learned.
