Computer Anti Virus Software
ok, I need to get a good anti virus software that I can download.
Nothing fancy or requires a subscription. I have "Ad-Aware" right now, but it's acting up for some reason, I need to re install it. In the mean time, is there something good that I can use to run through my system? |

for virus? AD-aware is for spyware... try doing a search on www.download.com for AVG free edition, thats the most popular downloaded anti virus software i know of, and of course it's all free....

yeah i'd try there. But for spyware, i know spybot is pretty good. I don't know of any free virus softwares though.....i'm sure if you search you'll come up with something

This is the absolute BEST you can get anywhere. It may take a few hours to run it on your system depending on how bad it is. Just download it and let it do it's thing. You may have to click the screen here and there. Also, get Avast as your anti-virus and you will never have these problems again. Both programs are FREE.

I have AVG... It finds everything that norton found and MORE and everything that macafee found AND MORE... I highly recomend... and yes... ITS FREE!:clap:

norton is the best. when you run out of the trial just reinstall. i have the full version but didnt pay for it. hehe

My laptop has been really screwed for some reason. I couldnt even get to the initial log in to Windows where the my user account is with out the screen going blue saying some crap.
Screen would go blue while in safe mode too  Everytime I ran one of those virus checkers or any of those things they would all freeze up and screen go blue half way through. I ended up just rebooting it where the last time it worked using that F8 option. It's ok now, but we'll see........ |
