5.0L 4v Modular
 
Who here knows any info on the 5.0L 4v modular. I heard its like 14k. That can't be right. Who would pay that?

someone that needs 400hp in a 7500rpm package with low displacement minimum emissions and no installation hassles. 14K for 400hp NA isn't bad. FRPP sends you every little detail that you'd need to use the motor you buy from them. They're cool that way. All the thought they put into packaging means you don't spend gobs of cash getting it to work just right.

The 5.0 Cammer is a face rocker and a ****-ruiner. In a manufacturer race in 2005 (cant remember which) the 5.0 Cammer in '05 Mustangs destroyed the LS1 by three places.

There's also the *rare* 427 Cammer. The 427 Cammer was a SOHC engine designed in 1964 for use in NASCAR. NASCAR made the engine illegal, after dodge threatened to pull out. Hahaha. It made 616hp @7500 rpm with one carb, and 660@7500 with two carbs. Modular freaking monster
