cat removal
whats the point of taking out a cats???? does it give us more h/p and noise???
and also how many cats does my 98 gt have???? |

Normally, Mustangs will have 4 Cats. Two before and two after the bend from the headers. It adds HP/Torque and sound because there isnt anything there as a baffle (no cat material), making it a free flowing exhaust, open pipe if you will.

yeah california mustangs have 6 cats since they are real asswipes as far as emissions go...although my friends 98 vert GT had 6 cats and were in tx..

Ive seen a better pic than this one but you can see all six cats for those who havent ever looked under the car.
