Civic vs. Mustang

My friend is a getting a 1999 Civic SI. He claims that while i can beat him in a straight line he can beat me in cornering and handling. is this true??????

No. Your friend is a moron. <rofl>

I dunno, my buddy had a civic Si and i wasnt all that impressed. I'd say the stang does better as it is. Put some springs in it and that Si wont be able to hang at all.

Unfortunatly I disagree. Stangs arent exactly ideal for handling stock. They are ok but nothing to write home about. I had a few imports (2000 SI and 2002 Sentra Spec V) and both outhandled the mustang stock for stock.

However, power isnt even close.

The Si motor barely makes 100tq at the flywheel. Don't think it much matters.
