Question about my door/trunk locks, 94 vert
 

94 mgt vert, I received one key with the car...I drove it home and decided not to lock the car thank god when I got out of it, Later I put the key in the door...doesnt turn.

Walked around back and put the key in the trunk, doesnt turn.

The key looks pretty worn, is it possible getting a new key cut would solve my problems? I have been sourcing door lock cylinder and key kits but have had a hard time finding them. If I need new locks.

You can get a key cut but if the new one doesn't work, you'll prob have to replace the cylinders.

Cool I was actually looking at that auction last night. It lists coupe or hatch, but they should work on a convertible too right?

Well guys, I went in to work last night and we could not get any locks for my stang. They showed as an order item but were out of stock. So since I need these ASAP I emailed the man with the auction and bought them early.

I hope there gonna work! I dont see why they shouldn't though.

Well I just found out the hard way that those locks only work for 79-93. The auction was misprinted and I had to hassle the guy all day through emails just to get him to send me some of my money back (minus shipping and all that crap).

So yeah, Im out a little bit of money AND upon trying to install these faulty locks, I busted my driver side glass all over me, I accidentally hit the window with the tip of my screw driver that i was prying a clip off with.

So not only am I out a little money from the auction, Im now cut to hell all over my arms and head, I was bleeding profusely, AND Im now having to borrow money from my lovely parents to have someone come out tomorrow and put new glass in my driver side door.

Today sucked :(
