Spark plug selection

Who makes the best spark plugs in your guys opinion (autolite, bosch, NGK, etc...)? Im just looking to buy some new ones and wanna get some ideas. Also what should I set the gap at, I think it calls for .54 but not sure? Ive got a 95 gt with a msd tfi coil and distributor.

anything that is copper and run the stock heat rang. I would recomend the NGk TR-55 as i love NGK they are cheap and most parts store shave them in stock.

I always hear everyone talking about platinum, are those anygood? Or should I just get some copper ones?

platinum is good for mileage

copper is better for power as copper is a better conductor of electricity.

My cars been detonating slightly also so i was wondering if i should go to a colder plug?? I have bosch platinums in it right now, if that matters. Could you also give me some part numbers on the plugs, or direct me to where i can find them?? Thanks.

i highly doubt that a spark plug is causeing you to detonate with your mods listed.
If i was you i would grab some NGK TR-55 part number is 3951.

Thanks for the part number...I know the plugs are not causing the detonation, I just figured it might calm it down a little till i figure out whats actually causing it.

That part you listed above is for the cobra model....so is there a reason you say to get those instead of the 6945s?? Thanks again and sorry for asking so many dumb questions.

thats the part number and should work regardless of its a 5.0 4.6 etc... kinda how the tr6 works in alot of different cars.
