Fog lamp trouble
Last week i checked my fog lights and discovered they were not working. Today i had a chance to do a little checking.
I pulled a bulb out and it looked ok so i hooked it up to a battery and it was good. So then i swapped the 20a fuse with another (even though it looked good they can fool you sometimes), pushed the button and they still didn't work. So i swapped the relay and still the same. At this point i'm not too worried about it cause i don't use them very often anyway. I figure i'll check the switch later. So i got in to go to tractor supply to browse a while. I pushed the switch and heard a relay click in the dash. Now this is kind of weird because i know the relay is under the hood. About two seconds later i figured out what the problem was. Anybody want to take a guess? There is no prize but a laugh at my expense. Hint: this is a 2004 gt without traction control/abs.:all: |
don't know but just guessing there is a secondary fuse/relay box in the kick panel or u didn't have the actual head lights on.

Sand,
Close but not quite. I realized i had been actually pushing the button for the rear defrost the whole time. Fog lights worked just fine when i pushed the right button. And i've had this car for three years. Doh!:D |
