Default Back pressure ????

Alright so I'm FINALLY buying my headers today but before I get my x pipe I had a question. I have pypes muffler deletes on my car right now which are basically straight pipes. If I run a x pipe with no cats will I have enough back pressure???

In January I'm adding a vortech supercharger by the way..

Any help will be appreciated

Why would you need backpressure? The objective for a four-stroke engine is to have, if anything, a vacuum in the exhaust. What you should worry about is gas velocity in the exhaust. As long as you aren't running excessively large diameter pipes, you're fine. 1-3/4 primaries for the headers and 2.5" (maybe 3"?) for the exhaust piping is the largest you should go. If your exhaust matches this, you're fine.

Cool cool... Someone was sticking the little 2 cents they had in a conversation I was having and stated that with all the straight pipes I wouldn't have enough back pressure and might float a valve or something

having less exhaust pressure will never make a valve float. That is old old school myths.
