Axle Repair Bearing.

Okay. I have a passenger side warped axle. It's annoying as can be. You cant feel it from 20 - 55 mph. But from 60 and up its very annoying and comes and goes in the curves. Makes my passenger seat shake, you can even see my door shake in and out of place in the body lines while driving.

So. I have two alternatives.

I went and checked on an entire axle assembly. 120 bucks. I have enough for that so it's fine by me. But then the guy said, we can also get you an Axle Repair Bearing for 30 bucks that will fix it.

I was like I'll get back with ya on that one!

So here I am, entirely new to this.

I need your help. Will this fix my warped axle shake? Or should I just get a whole new axle?

When I changed brakes I could spin the axle and watch the hub make an oval shape. And I just don't see how a bearing can fix something like that! So what should I do?

I took a quick read, and it still makes no sense to me as to how it can fix my bent axle. It even says, DO NOT USE if your axle is bent. So I guess the guys retarted. Still I would like input, but sadly I have to spend around 100 bucks on a stock axle..

If I had an 8.8 i'd go moser or something.

If the axle is warp then the bearing isn't going to do shit cause the axle is still fucked up. I would just check with a junk yard for 8.8 rear ends and change the whole thing out and slap a set of gears in while ur at it.
