SCT 3000 MAF or Diablo MAFia?

Which is the best to go with. Mind you I'll never go above 600rwhp probably what is the best to have?

I don't know much about those products, but if your already using SCT for tuning, that's what I'd go with.

No boost, no bother.

This will be for the Cobra.

ba2600 should be fine. No need to go up to the 3000. You don't want too much or you lose resolution and it makes it harder to tune.

Yea I figured that. Since we have a diablosport tuner for the Cobra would it be easier to go to a MAFia? Or would it still peg out? I don't really understand how the MAFia works.

The MAFia re-calibrates the voltages that your MAF produces, it's kinda like an un-pegger. If your MAF is reading 8v it'll drop it to some voltage lower than 5, which allows you to use a STOCK MAF with high HP applications. It's a bandaid and not a whole lot more.

I would much rather see a correct MAF transfer function calibration done with a MAF that's designed to support the amount of air you're pulling through it. In short, toss the Diablo stuff (I've personally never liked diablo for many reasons) and grab the nicest SCT handheld or dashmount you can afford, and a ba2600 and let your local dyno tuner have a nice easy day.

I don't like the Diablo at all, but thanks r3d. That's kind of what I thought, but I confused myself.

Guess I'm on the hunt for a 2600.
