Car is making weird noises (Video inside)

I uploaded a couple videos. Its like a whistling noise. I think it started once it started getting really cold out.

Someone told me its just my alternator working hard, and not to worry about it. Its just fucking annoying that for the first 10 minutes I'm driving its whistles really loud. Its embarrassing too.

yank off the serpentine belt... I'm betting it's from one of your pulley bearings or a particular accessory just went wonky.

If you start the motor without the belt (yes, it will start) and don't hear the whine then you know it's a pulley. From there... I'd usually suspect alternator or PS pump. If you confirm it is a pulley, then use a piece of string or tape or whatever wrapped around each pulley and pulled off quickly so as to spin the pulley to figure out which one it is. Replace as needed.

It's not vacuum... that's a metal-metal high frequency rub from what I'm hearing, so something needs replaced but it's something minor.

Okay thanks I'll have to try it next time it isnt shitty out.

One thing that confuses me is that it stops when its warmer out. And when the engine warms up too.

I had the EXACT same problem and only did it on start up and when cold.
I still don't know what it was, but after repalcing my clutch it was fixed.
I'm guessing my problem was the Throwout Bearing.
It sounded like it was coming from the Front Left Corner of the Engine bay.
