Tail Light issue.
As many of you know I have the sequential turn signal kit. Plug and Play style. My driver side tail light was acting like it was burnt out. So I get out the check and only the inside most light is flashing when the turn signal/hazards or on. So i figured I had a burnt out bulb. But then I went to the grocery store got back in my car and it was fine all lights were working properly. This has happened to more twice so far. I checked the wiring in the back and from what I can tell everything looks fine. Any suggestions on how to fix this? It does not happen often but will it once in a blue moon. Please note it is just the driver side tail light.

Do you have a multitestor? Very handy gadget.

nope do not.
I suspect your problem might be within whatever blinker type switch they use in these sequential light set-ups tho...but even if so, a multitestor could aid greatly in your diagnosis. You could compare outputs between the side that works and the side giving you problems...or maybe a bad ground, or??? |
I had that happen to me a while back when it had gotten really cold back around Oct.-November and then it hasnt done it again.
Maybe some water or moisture got into the housing and was causing it do the once in a while... |
