highway RPMs
 

okay i am just wondering, my STOCK except exhaust 97 gt runs around 2.2-2.3K rpms at 70mph.. now for stock gears that seems a little high for me, what do yall think???

never owned a 94-98 but that doesnt sound high to me.

I too have not owned a sn95, and it doesn't sound too high to me either.

cuz i got 2.73 gears and @70mph im at 1900rpm :D

That doesn't sound bad and yours is only 2 years older then mine. I believe mine is the same (maybe), I don't completely pay attention. I'll find out when I go to work in the morning. haha

Normal, I'm at around 2k @ 70mph.

i just went cruising. i hit 70 and remembered to look at my rpm's. yeah, 2k.

shit cruising in my inlaws car, im at 70mph@2200rpms and then when i go to 80mph im at 2600rpms :(

I don't know if it makes a difference that mine is a Manual/Stick but I just checked it out to make sure.

5th Gear:
50 MPH @ 1,500 RPM
75 MPH @ 2,000 RPM

LOL...My old Mach 1 had 2.55's. Absolute sheer hell on top end.

5th gear for me is about 1100@55

Im runnin 2k rpms goin 70, i think its in 4th gear too. Not real sure but whenever i gun it sure as hell seems like it shifts up.
