hey, i just realize before i left for work that my tips are uneven. the left side comes out more and it is about a 3/4 an inch or more from the bumper to the end. the right side is a about 1/4 an inch from bumper to end of tip. annoying to look at so i was wondering which side i should align it with and does it even matter if the tips stick out more?

 

You'll have to raise the car and go underneath to figure this one out.Check for close clearances with the gas tank,brake lines,and rear end.Use this to get an idea of what you can move and how much.You might want to have an oxy-acetylene torch handy to heat and bend hangers and such.A floor jack can be a big help to raise and hold parts of the exhaust that need persuasion.Be careful around the gas tank and fuel lines!!!As far as whether it matters about the tips,You noticed it didn't you???IT WOULD DRIVE ME CRAZY.

 

you can fix by bending the hangers, if you had a shop do it take it to them and fix it

 

What are SLM or did you mean SLP?
