Molly cage?

Anyone know where I can get a Molly cage on the web for a 2003 Mustang. Also does anyone have pics of theirs? I want one that I can still use the back seat for little ones.

you want a roll bar set up?

If you plan on doing scca events or nhra events there are certain requirements for each(such as mounting points, harness bar, etc.) that you need to take into account.

Look at http://www.maximummotorsports.com/ they have some great products or
http://www.steeda.com/ also a reputable company.
My friend had one from here in his vert, I think if you just give them a call they can set you up with one that will fit your needs.

drag racing only, and a cage, no roll bars

alright, well what exactly is the difference between a cage and roll bar? Is it just the extensiveness of it(more bars/bracing to possibly make it stronger)?

Maximum Motorsports sells drag racing approved roll bars with either swing out or fixed door bars, that meet all the requirements.

You cannot get a cage and put your kids in the back.

Cage has front bars down the a-pillar and hoop around the roof line and windshield is the basic difference.

As for the kids, they arent in car seats anymore, I just want them to be able to climb in there and buckle up so we can take an occasional cruze.

I have seen a few cages where back seat was still usuable for small peoples, I just want one in Cromemolly, not MS.

grab a tube-shark and 100 ft of .120 wall 2" DOM tubing and get to bending, notching and welding.

OUCH!! the cheapest I found a Tube-shark was $2600 for a bench mount and 3600 for portable. I'm only going 1.625 Cromemolly and smaller in some places. Just the bare min. diameter for NHRA certified molly cage.

I wonder if I could bend it with just a Habor freight bender or if it would ruin the pipe?

they work kinda, just be very carefull and watch the pipe when you are bending it, with a bender like that its real easy to kink the inside of the bend, even if its a small bend. and make sure that you take it very slowly, use different size bends to start it, instead of just a sharp bend right off the bat. it takes a while
