Brake Rotors.

Ok, so I've found out that the front rotors on my Stratus have been turned before and they are warping now and making stopping a living hell especially at low speeds.. I've already bought some high performance Raybestos pads that are waiting to go on..

My question, is there any "parts store" brand that is worth buying in your mind? For example, Duralast. I worked at Auto Zone, so I know that their parts quality in some cases is questionable, but for non-high performance, everyday driving how do they perform?

Any input appreciated. Thanks. :)

OEM replacement rotors from Brembo are cheap and high quality.

Hes got a Stratus, doubt they use Brembo. I'd personally just get a set of oem if you can get them cheap.

Brembo's for my car are about $70/ea.. Seems a little high to me for basically the same thing as the Raybestos for $33/ea.. Am I wrong?

Brembo

Raybestos

Your car is new enough to were you should be able to turn the stock rotors again and that's what I would do.

If they are warped, you can't turn them since it will cause the disk to have varying thickness, which will cause warping again.

As for parts stores, good cheap and quality parts can be obtained from Car Quest or NAPA. All of their parts are made by the same manufacturers that the OEs use.
