Major loss of power
To anyone that might know what's going on. I have the diablo tune still in my car awaiting supercharger install. Anyway went to the track and ran a very unimpressive 14.7 at the track. The car has ran a best of 14.0 a month ago. the car has 27,000 miles and my diablo had the trouble code for the #4 cylinder misfired and o2 sensor heater bank 2 bad. Should I change the coil pack or the sparkplug. I'll change the o2 sensor but that is easily fixed by turning them off. Any other ideas.

the tune only turns off the rear o2. the front ones are needed for managing the burn mixture. i would change the coil, but mine as well swap the plugs too.

Was the diablo tune installed when you ran the 14.0?

it sounds like you are running a tune for a blower on a car without a blower correct>?

as far as i know he has iridium plugs and the tuner was bought off the shelf sort of speak. he has had that tuner way before he bought the SC, if that answers any questions. i havent seen him since i left for iraq 2 months ago.

No supercharger tune installed as of yet. And yes the diablo tune was installed when I ran 14.0. I installed plugs about 12000 miles ago and I think maybe the gaps are not correct but I'm also changing #4 coil for troubleshooting purposes. I bought more plugs just in case so I'll change the plugs and coil this weekend because it seems likr everything goes wrong at WOT. It only misses every once in a while.
Jon I'll be mailing that stuff to you tomorrow, how freak'n' hot is it over their. I'm stuck state side do to things slowing down. Bri is getting sick of the roomies wishing you get home soon. Hopefully get your way soon need anything else from my side of the world |

its not that hot out here really its only getting to heat stress cat at 9 in the morning. its hilarious when a c-5 comes down and they get stuck in the flightline closure because thats around the time that EOD comes out and play it freaks the crews out. they dont know if its real world or controlled dets. i work nights so i dont suffer in the heat too much. yeah cool thanks for mailing that stuff ill pay you back when i get home i know its expensive my mom been sending me some things. yeah he told me some things a couple about the roomies when i called a few weeks ago. sounds like they suck and brian needs to regulate :boxing: thats what ill be doin after some yeiger bombs. soon enough september 20-25 is when i should be back.
