Removing the center console...
 

So my car has this little rattle everytime i drive and i noticed its comming from the area under the radio. What i want is to look under there and maybe tighten up a bolt or w/e i need to do to get that out of there. my question is, how and what do i need to remove those pieces?

and what do yall think about painting that part?

The center console, or the part around the shifter? To take off the part around the shifter just pry it up. If it's an automatic you may have to put it in neutral. No screws or anything, just pops up. The center console has two screws inside the center compartment that you will need to unscrew and also, remove that part around the shifter and I think that should get it besides the hand brake cover.

thanks for your help guys...i took apart the whole center part yesterday, and just tightened it up a bit...which i think was the problem... thanks again ...:D
