EGR Delete.
 

Can i just go into my SCT Xcal3 and turn off the EGR sensor(it has it in there for on/off). if i do that will i still have to get a block off plate and block it off and etc. too?

You turn it off in the tuner so you don't get a CEL, you should still block it off.

yeah, thats what i was thinking, and the CEL is an error code. i went to Ford and they say i can't get one there it's have to be from an aftermarket place.

where can i find a EGR delete plate for an 01 V6?

CEL stands for Check Engine Light. Ford has a part number for an EGR block-off plate, but you know how it goes. You ask for a part that 99.99% of parts desk workers have never heard of so therefore it doesn't exist. But here are some things. You could probably do a little searching to find the Ford PN.
