Default X-pipe install + 1 more question on DD bullitts

Hey guys, I am getting ready to install a pacifica x-pipe (no cat) on my 04 gt. Does anyone have any tips or tricks to make this instal easier. It sounds pretty straightforward but I was wondering if anyone ran into any problems installing theirs.

Also, on the deep dish bullitts for sale on this site, I noticed they have the snake emblem in the center, can you get them with the pony emblem to match the stockers or do you have to buy the pony emblems and swap them out? Do they just pry out? Thanks guys-t

Yeah they just pry out but you gotta buy the pony emblems seperate.

With the H pipe, it makes it a whole lot easier if you have a lift. The guy who installed mine had a heck of a time disconnecting the 2 front o2 sensors also... they were really, really tight.

Also, you might want to make sure and get some o2 extensions just in case. I needed them on my O/R H pipe. I heard the design changed in 04 hence the need for them.

Good luck.

its easy as hell except the passenger side exhaust manifold bolt. just spray it with pb blaster and wrench on it until you pop a blood vessel in your head. it was almost as tough as doing my headers

becarful when your pulling on that wrench cause it could slip off and possibly strip that bolt. i hope you have some big arms cause you will have issues getting that stuff off. just work at it and it will break loose then its all down hill.

Use nothing but SIX point sockets and lots of pb blaster. Other than that, no problems...
