How many of you guys have taken out your spare tire, jack and tire iron for the daily drive? Or do you only take them out at the track? I've been thinking about doing it since I already have a heavy azz vert, but with my luck I'd get a flat tire the next day.

I only take my spare tire at the track.. I dont wanna take the risk of getting a flat tire and not have a spare on me on the way there and back....

I've got the entire rear end gutted...back seat, trunk carpeting, and spare tire cover. I have 13" brakes in front, so I bought 2 extra matching 17" wheels, mounted BFG Drag radials on them, and use one as my spare. The wheel/ tire combo will fit circumference wise in the spare tire well, but not dpeth wise. I just bolted the jack back down and set the spare over it...fits perfect, so it's not going anywhere in the event of an accident.

At the track, I'll already have the BFG's on, and put one of my street tires in there for the spare. Once I get to the track I remove everything, jack, spare, tire iron. I personally also unbolt my front passenger seat at the track and use it as a lawn chair, lol.

My car is 3305 pounds with me in it and 1/2 tank of gas when race prepped.
