Changing spark plugs..

it not that hard to change spark plus, n just probaly get autolite or as they say motorcraft, they say bosch sux, i got autolite right now but looking for sum better ones but i dont know which ones

Changing the plugs is a piece of cake. For plugs I would just go with Motorcraft copper core or Autolight copper core

So easy! i did mine last week, and i dont have any kind of experience. If u can do an oil change, u can do a spark plug change. Just be confident and do them one at a time.

Wut? The new spark plugs don't have to go in a certain hole. Take off the plug wire, remove the spark plug, take new one out of box, gap it (.052), install new plug, replace wire. Repeat 5 more times. Just make sure you don't cross thread, or leave them loose or you could blow that sucker out and end up with a big headache.

It's real easy; Go with Motorcraft or Autolight

V6_Mustang_Power 05-25-2008 07:58 PM

Shet, still confused about it. lol.

Just dig in man. You can't screw anything up that bad.

V6_Mustang_Power 05-25-2008 08:49 PM

i don't know if they need changed either. got the car with 65,xxx on it and now has 84,xxx on it.

spike_africa 05-26-2008 07:22 AM

Well for the cheap cost of those plugs you will be better off doing it.

01FR500 05-26-2008 10:43 AM

Yeah, just do it for peace of mind. Autolite coppers (764's for the v6?) are pretty cheap, ofcourse it's becuase they are not platinum though. When I got my GT I changed the fuel filter just so I would know when it was changed and not have to guess. But it was a Ford filter that I took off so it had probably never been changed.
