I have an 03 Mach 1 and sometimes the drivers side window won't go down. This has happened one time before and i just waited till the next day and it worked fine. That was about a month and a half ago and its happened again, now it is spring and i want to ride around with the windows down but the drivers side window wont go down. I was wondering if anyone else has had this problem. Also maybe a tip on how to fix it, or just take it to the dealership and let them handle it. Thanks.

if its intermittent like that, its probably the switch or the regulator motor or some loose/frayed/burned wiring. I'd swap the switches from side to side and see if the passenger side switch works when the drivers side doesnt. I know it wont fit in there, but it should plug up and you just let it hang there, y'know for testing purposes only.

Same problem on my car. Happens when the door has been in the sun all day. Pisses me off. Randy directed me to a new window motor at one point.
Fortunately I've had the passenger window working all the time so no biggie for me.

im just waiting for my driver side switches to die...
I crack the window to smoke and if it's raining or snowing, every drop hits my switches.

common problem on 2001 up 'Stangs, usally a bad regulator/mtr is the cause and if you let it go to far, you'll run the risk of damage to the plastic mounting brkts on the door glass, the ones that are ONLY serviced wth the gla$$
