Well this is proof of how blonde I really am: I noticed that my cruise control only worked on occasion. I couldn't for the life of me figure out what was wrong. Well I have a manual trans, which is a key part of this story. I noticed that when cruising (like on the GSP, when you'd want to use cruise control), I had a habit of letting my left foot rest ever-so-gently on the clutch pedal. It was obviously never enough to engage the clutch, but the slight pressure was just enough to keep the cruise control from engaging.

Yes I know it's ridiculous, but you now know you wouldn't have been the first person to do it.

Didn't think that'd actually be your problem, just wanted to share my story.

My car does not have a cruise control. Honestly, who makes a car without cruise control? My 1999 Saturn had it. So I upgrade to an 02 Mustang and it doesn't have it. And seeing as how I only use cc about once a month, I didn't even check to see if it had it when I bought it.
