Driver Side A/C vent
 

Does anyone know how to remove the driver side A/C vent on a 2004. Its the vent located just to the left of the steering wheel.

It's been a while since I took mine off but I beleive you need to remove the plastic piece that is right above your knees while in the driver's seat. You may need to remove the metal plate behind that but from there you should be able to see the srews holding everything in.

how do you remove the plastic piece? I removed two screws from the bottom, after those two do I just pull it off.

I'd have to go look at it and it's too cold and dark to do that right now so maybe tommorow while I install the JLT. I'm pretty sure it's just srews and possibly two metal clip type of things that hold it on.

I took the two screws out from the bottom, and tried to pull it off, but I was worried I might break the plastic piece. Is there a trick to pulling it off, or am i just worrying to much?
