aftermarket parts

just wanted some of your opinions. i have 700.00 to spend on my car and i dont know what i want to upgrade first. i have a 03 dsg gt with 4.10s. I just had to order new tires on tirerack.com which were 315-35-17 and 275-40-17s

I'd just be adding it to my s/c fund.

yea that would be nice but my car is pretty much stock. shouldnt i build up to that or is it safe to do that first

you can safely s/c a stock mustang, a lot of the s/c manufacturers test their s/c's on a stock vehicle, and build the s/c kit to work with your stock vehicle.

You wouldnt need to upgrade the cylinder heads until you are getting paid to run the car in a sponsored race...lol.

Get an exhaust for sound before all out performance gains...there isnt much of a difference. LT headers will get you a nice gain though...but are a PITA to install.

what are the pros and cons for longtube headers and shortys.

shortys dont do much...not really worth it I'd say.

LT's give a decent gain.
