Well I'm going to be ordering my X-Mas present in about a week.
A MagnaFlow catback system for my '04 GT! Originally I decided on the MagnaFlows as opposed to the MagnaPacks as I did'nt want it too loud but now I'm undecided. Can anyone out there who has experience with both systems give me a percentage figure in terms of sound increase over the stock system eg. Flows + 10%, Packs + 20% ? I'm looking for the perfomance gain of either with a noticable increase in in exhaust note without being extreme. I appreciate any input. Thanks. |

I've had the magnaflow system twice and have always been impressed is the rest of your exhaust stock? If so it will be louder than stock but not too loud...if you really wanna sweet sound combine that with an hpipe or prochamber and ull get a deep smooth rumble that's low and smooth down low and screams with the sound of american muscle up high.

Performance gain of either will be zero. Packs are not that loud in my opinion.

Just having the cats alone will knock the DRONE tone down. TOO loud with out, but I've got wife and kids.

You won't be dissapointed with either system. If it's a daily driver just get the regular flows if not I'd go for the packs.
