i noticed on the 03 Cobra Front Bumper there are 4 holes (2 on each side).
i was wondering can you put in 4 foglights and hook them up? |

here's a photoshop...i think this would be kinda sweet.
it's not ricer to add 2 more foglights as long they're not some gay aftermarket Advance Auto Parts foglights. if you're using OEM foglights, i think it'd be alright Last edited by Mixedbreed02GT : 12-12-2007 at 06:10 PM. |

kinda ricey...looks kinda cool though...but, aren't the holes meant to channel air to the front brakes? if they do, you'd be removing functionality in the name of looks...that = rice.

if they were channeled to get air to the front brakes, then the empty holes would be to the outside, and the fogs would be to the inside. common sense tells me the empty holes are non-functional |

Well it's illegal to be driving on a road with more than 4 lights on.
+ that looks kinda dumb. lol And as far as the holes being used to cool the brakes, I don't know - but if you look at it, they would be placed on the inside of the bumper as the outer hole is towards the center of the tire, so the path would have to curve back towards the middle of the car in order to get to the brake. The hole on the inside can lead right to the brake. |

i think the extra 2 fogs on the cobra looks pretty decent...plus it's something that no one usually does, so that would definitely make it stand out. |

Lets see...bmw uses brake cooling ducts in their front bumpers...usually the foglights are outside of them. mainly for the reasons Pcola stated. looks like common sense is not as common as you thought.

i think the 2000 Cobra R is the only mustang to use the ducts to cool the front brakes.

Hey Sonic and Breed - Knock it off, guys. We're all here to love Mustangs and hep each other out. If you don't like 4 lights, Sonic - go with 2. If you want 4, Breed, put 'em in. But don't beat each other up about it.

I do believe the xtra holes were to be for brake cooling if so desired, but its really not functional since there is no real channeling going to the brake area from the bumper. If you like it, just do it when ever you do this switch you been talking about, but there is no sense to bash others on here over some damn lights...

actually i think that looks pretty dope, cause it looks like it could has came OEM like that. It looks crappy when there are fog lights in places that were not meant for them, or lights that arent right for the vehicle, like putting a set of yellow rectangle fogs on that cobra.

I love the guy with 40 posts trying to keep the peace! ha ha.
Anyway, I don't really like that 4 headlights idea, but if you like it go for it. I would just get a nice pair of silverstart fog lights and call it a day. |

dang sonic... way to join the boards and introduce yourself as a total prick.
![]() I like the look of the 4 fog lights, definitely unique with all 4 being OEM. What are those 2 empty holes for anyway? Brake cooling ducts or something of the like?
