Default Carbon Fiber?

Is it worth the extra few hundred dollars for a carbon fiber hood, is the weight really that big of a factor, I dont plan to do much drag racing, once a month or so, and it'll probly get it painted anyway.

Not worth if for the price they go for and the weight they save! Hell you could lose the same weight by removing your spare and jack!

I completley disagree. If you are removing several pounds (such as rear seats, front k-member swap, etc) a carbon fiber hood can make a great differnce...it all adds up.

But he also said he's only drag racing once or twice a month. He doesnt really need the weight loss he'll get with a carbon fiber hood. Now if he was racing all the time, then yeah it's worth it.
