hey does anyone know if threre is a program that i can install on my lap top that will let me run a program that i can plug a cable into my car, and let me change thing on my car or let me see readings .... or anything along those lines...?

The SCT proracer package lets you read all sorts of info and you can tune your car aswell. Its not cheap at all though, www.modulardepot.com and www.vmptuning.com also sells them.

You can buy one of their Xcal-2 tuners and use the LiveLink software they offer to datalog. You won't be able to change nearly as much but you probably won't know the first thing about how to use the Advantage3 tuning software with the Pro-Racer kit (I have the PRP... not for beginners) so that's probably a better route than the PRP set.

EDIT: You can't change things on the fly with either method but you can datalog. I'd invest in a wideband O2 guage and sensor kit (www.innovatemotorsports.com makes them) if you plan on doing any tinkering with your tune.
