rpm's drop
 

when i break kinda hard, or sometimes whenever i break and come to a stop, my rpm's drop really low and it feels like the car is ganna stall. its never stalled. the rpms always jump back up to normal. i was just wondering if this is normal or not.

how low is low and do you have the a/c on?

they drop to around 3 or 4 hundred.
no the a/c isnt on.

mine did that alot when i would drive a little harder than i needed to .. but it happened all the time when the ac was on so i dont use the ac anymore ... windows down ftw

if i have the a/c on they go down to 900 for me and then they will jump back up to 1000.

dirty IAC or needing a bit of tinkering on the tune.

I bet if you clean the IAC, you will be good to go.

what exacly is a IAC?

Idle Air Control valve. When you car is at idle, the throttle body is closed. W/o air the motor will die. The IAC allows air to bypass the TB. It operates automatically on a motor.
