Clutch not adjusting properly.
 

Ok, so heres the thing. My car drives fine until its either been run for about 30 mins, or sits in stop and go traffic for about 10-15 minutes. Then, when I let out of the clutch, the car bucks and jumps. Someone mentioned the clutch not adjusting itself, so I tried to adjust my clutch using the factory method of pulling the pedal up and pushing it back down, but it doesnt click. Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it, or even whats going on for sure. Thanks for the help.

I thought i had the smae problem...but apparently it was my driving.( im a good driver smooth shifts 100% of the time) but for some reason...i let a freind drive in stop and go traffic and it never happend..so try driving in that kind of traffic..differntly

No, this is definately the clutch, because at first, I thought it was me, and then brought the car home for my dad to drive, and it still did it. And it does it whether its stop and go or not, after a certain amount of time, it just sucks.

I had the same problem with my stock clutch pretty much.
How many miles are on the clutch?

It was supposedly replaced when we bought the car, that would be about 10k miles, but if not, then its got about 74k on it...lol.

I had pretty much the same problem before. Especially in stop and go traffic like u explained. The Car would buck easier and the pedal feel was all mushy feeling. And I swore i didnt have that AUTO adjusting clutch thing cause everytime i did it I didnt hear or feel no damn click sound..lol and the clutch would just feel the same......

so...I decided to invest in a new performance clutch(Centerforce Dual Friction Clutch) and the Steeda Double hook quadrant and the steeda firewall adjuster. I dont know how many times I have recommended this setup. The bucking is no more, the pedal feel is light and consistant, and I have the ability to adjust my clutch manually with the firewall peice. All that took care of my clutch problems , and I have been happy with it so far , its been like 6000 miles...

The self adjusting works on mine still. Basically, after you let out the clutch after shifting put your toe under the clutch pedal and pull back. You should feel it come back "self adjust" just a small tad. Im so in the habit of doing it I do it almost every day and after shifting.

Wonder if it would fix with just the adjuster and quadrant...
