hey i have a 2001 v6 and every time a get in the car there is a loud popping sound coming from the front end. Its not the engine it just sounds like something is catching than releasing. It doesnt happen to often, maybe once or twice every time i drive. I notice that when it does happen i am braking, turning, or accelerating. Any advice would be much appreciated.

well the owner before me got in a small accident and there is a dent by the front left headlight. I think that may be the issue but im not for sure, Im having a hard time pinpointing the problem. The pop comes from the front left side of the car.
