SES Light - p1152

P1152 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Rich - Bank No. 2.

Replaced the o2 sensor with a new motorcraft sensor, cleared the code, and it came back. Switched around upstream o2 sensors and it still throws a p1152 code. I doubt both just happen to be bad. Anyone got any ideas?

sounds like and $80 diagnostic is in your future I would just take it in to a trusted mechanic. you could replace multiple parts and not get it fixed, by that time you have already dumped $200+ into it with out knowing whats causing it.

How does the harness look, clean with lots of dielectric grease in it?

Cant really see. Its high up right next to he headers. Im presuming the harness is fine because of our heated o2 sensors which is kicking on the code about 45 minutes after driving. I also do have mechanics looking at it. We are on alldata trying to figure this out. Since its one side and bank two which is passanger side. Im being lead to believe my o2 sensors are fine and I possibly have a vacuum leak, intake leak, or mabye a faulty injector on the bank 2 side.

bump

Well I think I may of found the reason. I was pulling my air intake off to get ready for my plug change. I have a used Steeda CAI and the previous owner had a nitrous bung on it. When I got it, I put a small peice of gorilla glue tape on it. Well it was just hanging there and pretty much about to fall off. I just fixed that problem. Now ive got another problem that needs to be addressed pretty quick. My car is running pretty lean from what my plugs are telling me. The local FORD SCT tuner is booked up until the end of september.
:help:

if it was leaking air in thats why the plugs look white like there running lean. Because it was taking in unmetered air and making it run lean.

your car isnt in closed loop long enough. my car threw those codes all the time till i sent my x-call to MPH for the fix. the o2 sensors dont have enough time to heat up somthing like that.
