Will I pass?

I currently have an O/R Prochamber and a magnaflow catback, and inspection time is coming soon in Texas..... im not about to get back under my car and install my stock midpipe, only to put the other one back on. so i was thinking about clamping or welding (not sure if i want to go back to catless) in some replacement high flow ones from magnaflow (Carsound) here is the model

Will i pass inspection in Texas if i do this?

Man, I live in Texas too.Just go somewhere they don't look under the car.Ask around someone you know, knows a place. Thats what i did. And I've always wondered about if you could just cut the stock cats off and then split them in half and fab a way to bolt the covers over an o/r pipe. That way you can pass a mirror test and could just remove after you pass. Maybe I'll play with that idea.

ive passed 2 years no problem. If your worried, go to a junkyard and snatch some heat shields from another car. (The shields are bolted around the cats) then take those shields and either bolt or weld them to your pipes. It works every time....

I live in dallas, and im pretty sure they use a sniffer, so thats a no go. i am just worried, bc we have 4 cats on our cars? why?

I live in Abilene now, but I've lived in Austin, San Antonio, Killeen,And Wichita Falls.Never been sniffed but I guess it could vary from city to city within Texas. If you leave in a city that does I guess you could just drive to the next town over.

You have 4 cats because every place is different with emissions... so they have to abide by the strictest laws so everyone can pass.

your still gonna pass the sniffer with no cats....
