i THINK in the newer mustangs you are going to need a tune along with the cai. im pretty sure there are packages for sale from various places.

thanks for the reply, is there a big difference in brands? K&N, AFE, Ford Racing? have seen a bunch of these all claiming to add certain HP, but not sure what to go with.

I found this AFE on http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/pe...5&brandid=4242
Its the Cold Air Intake System, Stage 2 System. The price is kind of steep, im sure i can find it cheaper else where like on e-bay, but would this be a good one to get? |

If you use the search at the top, you can find plenty of threads arguing over cold air. It's all about preference. 212$ is a pretty common price. I don't know if you'll find much lower than that. And yes, you will need to get a tune with an 07. It's kind of a pain, but the newer stangs benefit more from CAI.
