bassman97 07-04-2007 02:34 PM

If you need touch-up paint, Ford has applicators similar to the Dupli-Color 2-in-1 for a reasonable price.

zigzaggthefag321 07-04-2007 02:53 PM

Ford for touch up.

03_GT 07-04-2007 04:36 PM

Not to be a smartass, but i wanted to see if i could get it somewhere else before i spend an a$$ load of money on paint from a dealership!!

zigzaggthefag321 07-04-2007 04:57 PM

you must be wanting more than a little amount paint then. otherwise, just get it from Ford.

trying to paint your whole car with touch up paint? Are you driving a '70 cutlass? If your using a real base coat then your gonna need more than that.....how about a paint booth, spray gun, primer, clearcoat, wetsanding ability, baker, and ummm.... skill?:poke:

hes not trying to paint his car with touch up paint. Napa can get alot of Ford color paints in and there cheaper, otherwise you can search the net for them would be your best bet price wise i would assume.

I know what im doing, my dad and i paint cars in our spare time! So we everything, and we know the whole 10 yards on how to do it!

You can go to a paint store (auto) and they should be able to do a laser match on the paint.

My dad gets his paint from advance auto parts. If they carried the factory paint that i need for my car then im sure i would buy it from them.

gotchya.

Don't know if the prices are good or not but take a look at http://www.paintscratch.com/

not to be a dick but a 2003 model shouldn't need to be repainted already... you probably won't even notice a difference unless you never took care of the exterior paint in which case don't spend all the money to get it repainted.

I know what you are saying but im getting a new hood, front & rear bumper, and a new driver side fender, Then ill be filling in all the little dents, scrathes, and chips in the body of the car. And not to be an ass, I take VERY good care of my car, wax it once a week.
