Clutch problems!

This is the second gt mustang ive had with this problem and im sure i can fix it. Anyways, my clutch pedal releases at the very top and is very stiff. The clutch is in good condition and i know it doesnt need replacment. I had a new clutch put in my last mustang i had to try and fix it, but it still did it. Would an ajuster clutch kit fix my problem? if so, how much of a pain is it to install? Thanks.

I would guess that a firewall adjuster kit with the dual fork quad. would atleast help with your problem. It definitely helped mine.

Why don't you try adjusting it now? Adjustors come stock, just aftermarket ones are better since the whole linkage on the clutch pedal is plastic.

Try this link and if no go, get a firewall adjuster and quadrant. You'll lose the automatic adjusting feature of the stock quadrant, but it doesnt seem like it sets it right for you anyway. I put the steeda firewall adjuster and quadrant in when I did my clutch a few months ago and it took under 30 mins.
