Labor $$$ To Intstall A New Ass
 
I have 4.10 FRPP , Bearing Kit, Moser 31-spline Axles, FORD COBRA T-LOK LSD, and Alu. Driveshaft thats waiting to be installed....HOW MUCH DO YOU PEOPLE THINK IT WOULD COST TO HAVE THOSE ITEMS INSTALLED????

im thinking $500??? what yall think?

if you're replacing the axle bearings then figure about 800 bucks by california prices. if not... 500 for the gear swap and call it a day.

Don't you just love Cali prices.....You know it's bad when labor cost more than the parts! ha ha.

I say around $600-700

You can save a ton of money if you have time and space. I have all the same parts in my rear and I was charged $125 to set it up. The catch is I pulled the housing from the car, stripped all the old parts out of it and cleaned it. Then I took the bare housing in and all the parts.

Holy cow....

You guys need to shop around. I got Motive 4.10's and the complete bearing kit (OUTER AXLE BEARINGS INCLUDED) installed for 325.00 at Kaiser's customs. He also put in new axle seals (90k+ miles) for just the price of the seals, because "it was all apart anyway"...
