Default HID KIts and Dual Angel Eye LED Projectors headlights

I have a 01` Roush and my head lights are finally foggy.. I saw the black Dual Angel Eye LED Projectors at American Muscle and the look sweet, I also want to put an HID kit in while I am at it. I was just wondering if you can do both, or is there a way to check and make sure the an HID kit is compatible with the type of head light you have? Ohh anybody have an opinion on Violet vs blue lights for the HID?

I bought the same kit from American Muscle except it was the chrome type. I went back to the stock and just cleaned them and they look almost brand new... The Angel Eye lights you are talking about made it almost impossible to see at night and I am pretty sure that you can't convert them to HID. They looked great on the car but are for looks only in my opinion. However if you are interested, I would be happy to let ya have my set for less than you would pay for the new ones... I only had them on my Stang for about a week and they are still brand new in the boxes they shipped in. Let me know if you want them ad we can agree on a $ amount... Will post pics of them if ya want.

Just clean your old lenses and get the AM dual beam HID kit and you'll be plenty happy...

Default How?

My headlights have been foggy / scratchy looking for some time now. Looks like fine sand paper scratches really. I try to rub it off cuz it looks kinda "coated on there at the same time. HOW DO I CLEAN THEM UP?

02Silver, I used a heavy buffing wheel and rubbing compound... Took me about an hour or so per side but they look brand new. You gotta be careful when you buff them out so you don't stay in one spot too long. If you do you run the chance of burning the plastic.

I don't not recommend these lights. While they look great on the Stang, they have terrible vision at night and can't see much of whats in front of you. I have them installed on my stang right now, and to drive in a non-lighted neighborhood I have to drive with my high beams on to see where I'm going.

oh, and does anyone think that if I put fog lights on the bottom, that I would be able to have better vision at night, or do they really not help out as to seeing?

I saw a guy who transplanted the projector housing from an newer acura into his stock mustang headlights. He had true HIDs.....it was pretty sweet.....
