which headers match my h-pipe??

i have a mac off road h-pipe and i need to know which headers will fit the h-pipe!! full length, mid length, or shorty???????

Well without seeing it, no one can really tell you. The same midpipe should fit shorties and mid-lengths, as the only thing that changes is the individual pipe design (longer, more curves) for the mid-lengths. Longtubes (full-length) come all the way down and actually make the turn toward the rear of the car before the collector. It is obvious that longtubes need the short midpipe and it would be obvious to you if that is what you have. There would be no upturns (or downturns depending on perspective) before the O2 sensors. If it has pipes that as shaped like hockey sticks, then you would need to have shorties or mid-lengths. If it is currently installed with stock manifolds, then you have you answer already, that you can use any header except longtubes.

If you go to 50resto.com they will tell you which headers will fit certain types of mid pipes. Any Mac headers will work....

Well the point is that I haven't seen any mid-length or shortie headers that required a specific brand of midpipe. The midpipe just needs to be the standard one. Obviously, long tube headers need the short mid-pipe. MAC makes long tubes so to say any MAC headers will work is not true. If he has the regular mid-pipe, he needs mid-lengths or shorties. If he has the short mid-pipe, he needs longtubes.

alright thanks for the help...i don't think it has any turns in it

Well if youve got stock manifolds on there now with the midpipe, then the only headers that will fit it are shorties.

From my understanding, mid-lengths also accept the full size mid-pipe.
