I am getting ready to replace my stock springs & shocks/strusts with steeda sport springs & tokico mach1s and was wondering I shoudl replace the Spring Isolators? My car at 45k miles on it. I just want to make sure that I have all the parts I need before I start this job. Also if it is recommended that I get them any suggestions on which brand or type??

Talk to Steeda for their recommendation. If you haven't already bought the springs you'll save shipping costs getting them from the same source.
Other good source would be Maximum Motorsports. I put these springs on my 02 GT and discovered that the oem isolators were still in excellent shape, so i just swapped them over. You can leave them off entirely, but this will generate noise (and lower the car an additional .4 inches). A compromise would be to use only the upper isolators, which would lower the car an additional .2 inches or so and generate a lot less noise. I didn't want more than a 1.5" drop, so I left em both on. tripleblack |
