What do you recommend?

I am thinking about getting 4:10 gears. I dont want to spend a fortune on them because the installation will be expensive to! But I still want to get some qualitiy gears. What do yall recommend that is not too expensive but still good quality?

your choice is motive or ford... and motive makes some of fords so take your pick.

I have the motive 4.10's in my car right now. Runs whisper quiet (as far as differential noise goes).

I got the FRPP and it was totally a plug and play issue, used the exact same shim and all was well. Perfect backlash, exactly the same as the original 3.27s.

For all of yall who reccommended FRPP gears, what makes them worth the extra money that you pay for them? Im kinda stupid bout this so i would appreciate any input.

The fact that they needed exactly zero additional shimming other than the original pinion gear shim. They fit and I didn't have to monkey with trying to reshim poor tolerance gears.

If you're paying someone else to do it, I don't think it really makes as big a deal, because it will be their headache not yours.
