Default Backup lights.

Back up lights do not work on my 2000 V6 5speed. Fuse is good, but the power is not getting to the switch. According to my wiring diagram the power goes from the fuse (15amp, fuse #11)to the switch to the GEM to the lights. Is this a common failure? Is there something I should look into before looking for a broken wire? Thanks in advance.

work your way back with a multimeter and see where you are loosing power. im guessing your switch is bad.
