Default rear pinion seal

My rear diff is leaking at the input shaft, I'm guessing pinion seal. Is this a job I can do in my garage with average set of tools? I'm thinking drop driveshaft, pull out seal, pound in new seal, put back driveshaft, replace any lost gear lube and FM? Sound about right?

You will need to check the gear engagement when you're done... so you should know how to set up gears and have the dial micrometer. You'll need air tools as well to get the pinion nut off/on. Take it to a shop.
