Clutch cable recommendations?

Had an adjustable clutch cable from "Cool Blue" installed in my car a few months ago and the damn thing already crapped out on me! the cable is so frayed its about to snap. I herd there not the best in quality any recommendations on other brands?

Stock ford OEM cable is the only one I've ever used that lasted. All the others have proven less than ideal.

I don't think there is an aftermarket cable that can match a good'ol OEM ford cable. When I changed out my quadrant and firewall adjuster I was looking at getting a different cable but was highly advised to use Ford's cable.

Have had NO problems with the Steeda cable. I compared it to the OEM ford cable and it's practically identical.

But, I can already tell you about 95% of ppl on this board will tell you to stick with Ford OEM. :dunno:

Im not saying that.... Plus I was just kinda pokin' fun at ya... But, everyone told me not to get the Steeda Cable and I have had no problems thus far. :dunno:

Stick w/ the OEM clutch cable but get the MM Quadrant kit. Takes a bit to install (the rubber bushing I got was oversized so I had to do quite a bit of sanding) but it is engineered beautifully in that the fit perfect and adjusting is a breeze. On a second note, was is a fool proof way of knowing the cable is adjusted properly? Some days it feels too tight and others it feels too loose and it's driving me nuts. Sorry for the thread hijacking...

Thanks fellas for the recommendations. I feel stupid now cause i had a perfectly good FORD OEM cable replaced for the simple fact of "upgrading to a better aftermarket cable" It was 5 years old and no issues? I do like the fact that you can adjust your pedal, but i hate the fact that iam buying another all over again :shock2:
