No....I dont even want to go into all the **** you'll have to swap even if you even found some slim chance to get it in the car

Since the architecture of the SN95 is similar to the Fox Body, to do it, all you really need to do is swap to a 94-95 K-Member and buy the install kit from Ford. It includes oil pan, timing cover, water pump, and motor mounts. For headers, the aftermarket has plenty for this swap.

It will fit in the car. you just might need a different hood. There were pictures or a video somewhere of a 99-04 v-6 with one in it. It's crammed in there, but it fits except for the hood. I was looking into doing that someday when money isnt so tight.

It will fit.

it will work, but will take a bit of work

You are better off doing a 4v 281 with KB or a 330 with a KB.

No replacement for displacement! Personally, I would throw in a 429 w/ hemi heads to make an 03 Boss 429. Do you plan using a carb or FI?

motorhead6776 10-06-2006 06:48 PM

ya i was planning on a big old school v8 and carb... so really any bigblock ford motor will do.. i think i like the idea of a 429 with hemi heads... ill go look into that

bassman97 10-07-2006 09:37 AM

Unfortunately, if you want the old school power, you are really only limited to the Windsor and the 385 series engines due to the k-member. Keep us posted on the progress though, I have never seen an 96+ Mustang w/ anything other than the 4.6 so I would like to see the outcome.

It will work but not without hrs of modifications that will need to be done to the car...
