O/R H pipe Question

I am probably going to be purchasing a MAC Prochamber soon and I am wondering about the MIL. I have read about using Sparkplug non-folwers to recess the O2 senson from the pipe, which inturn causes the sensor to sense everything is okay. My questions are as follows:

1.) How big/many non-fowlers do I need?

2.) Would coupling MIL Eliminators with the non-folwers pretty much eliminate the problem for the MIL?

Thanks

I've NEVER heard of that.Just get the Mil's or a XCal II.

I havent either..If you are modding your car anymore it might be a good idea to get an xcal or just get mils. Mils dont always work though

Here is a link to a forum where they did the non-fowlers on a honda http://www.k-series.com/forum/showthread.php?t=8833

I've read about alot of people doing this. It seems like a CEL would almost be eliminated if I coupled it with MIL eliminators. I don't have the additional $380 to plunk down on a tuner so this seems like my best option.

the reason your MILs went bad is because they probally got melted from touching the o/r pipe..I have had my MILs for a year now with no problems.

If you really are on a tight budget and are good w/ wiring, go to the bottom of this article: http://www.fordmuscle.com/archives/2...hale/index.php
It explains how to make your own MIL w/ resistors from Radio Shack.

i have heard of using spark plug non-foulers from a mod guy that came into my work (auto parts store). they only this is we only have 14mm non-foulers and those weren't big enough for O2 sensors for my 03 gt. Im not sure what the exact thread size is becuase I dont have a thread gauge that big. but, if you think about it, it could work. if the sensor is out of the direct stream the likelyhood of trippind the MIL is reduced but not removed.
