Clutch

should i relpace the clutch when i do my LT install..the car only has about 27k miles and i dont wanna deal w/ the headers again if i dont have to....the plan is to push a lil under 400 hp/tq w/ an s/c...spec stage II w/ steel or aluminum flywheel

EDIT: I know that i put htis in the power adder section cause the power adder would be the reason for adding the clutch...move it if nessisary

Clutch install will def be easier with everything out of there. However, some LT's allow you to drop the tranny. If you have one of those brands, then clutch install will still be possible without removing a header.

Not sure. Maybe a 5 speed guy will chime in. Try searching on modulardepot.com and modularpowerhouse.com

Mac's,BBK,SLP let you pull the tranny with long tubes still installed. But its much harder with them there.

id rather have it be a lil tougher than having to go back up into the headers and loosen them

Mac it is then lol.
